Steve Moore's Bristol Rovers Preview

Luton are looking to serve up some Boxing Day revenge as they travel to Bristol to take on the Pirates.

Bristol Rovers are so far the only side to beat Luton at Kenny Road within 90 minutes all season but their own home form leaves a lot to be desired.

They have only won one game at the Memorial Ground all season so there is no better chance for the Hatters to pick up a first away win of the season.

A win for Luton will take them above their hosts on goal difference and begin to carry them up the league and hopefully, away from the drop zone.

Rovers won't be helped by having young Welsh full-back Joe Jacobson facing a late fitness test with concussion.

For the Hatters, they still have the long term injury problems of Underwood, Peschisolido and Langley with Paul Furlong added to that list having suffered a dead leg on Saturday.

This would lead us to believe that Blackwell will continue with the 4-5-1 system with Andrew up top on his own. A system that scrapped and fought before being perfectly released by the introduction of a second striker in Drew Talbot for the last half-hour. Giving the Town a vital 1-0 win that took them off the bottom.
