One in, one out on loan

David Livermore, 28, has joined on a one month loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, where he has played just 25 games for the League One strugglers since joining last year. He may be remembered by Luton fans for being sent off by Andy D'Urso in the second leg of the JPT Southern Area final, which had a huge bearing over the final result. Livermore started his footballing career as an Arsenal trainee before moving to Millwall. Livermore spent seven years at Millwall, becoming the club captain in the process, where he played 273 times for Millwall, scoring 12 goals. He then moved to Leeds United in 2006, but moved to Hull after just 10 days, presumably when he realised he would have to work under Kevin Blackwell, or maybe it was because of the signing of current Luton player Kevin Nicholls. He then moved to Oldham on loan in early 2008, before agreeing a 2 year contract at Brighton.

Also moving on loan is young Ryan Charles. The 19 year old has moved on a months loan to Blue Square Premier side Kettering Town after seeing his first-team chances at Luton limited so far this season. Charles has just started one match for Luton this season, with numerous substitute appearances, scoring twice earlier in the season at Macclesfield and Reading. The Poppies are currently 8th in the Blue Square Premier, four points off the play-offs, but have struggled in recent weeks, despite wins over struggling Weymouth and already relegated Lewes. Kettering manager Mark Cooper has admitted they struggle for goals, so he'll hope the signing of Charles will help them to score more and fire the Poppies into the play-offs.
