Morgan: The End?
Morgan, 24, will basically be at Roots Hall until the start of January, at which point Southend United will have the option to sign him permanently. Morgan was the clubs top scorer last season, at least the top scorer out of those players that stayed last season, with five goals. In total, he has played 93 times for Luton, scoring 11 times in total. The most memorable of these goals was arguably his last minute winner against Southampton in 2005, which saw Luton take six points out of the first two games against two teams who had been in the Premiership the season before. How times have changed in two short years. It looks like Morgan could be another player on his way from the club. If he does end up leaving, he will always be remembered as the player that could have been a whole lot better than he turned out to be. Lack of effort appeared to cost Morgan his career, in many ways his story is similar to that of Liam George.

Meanwhile, Luton have strengthened the midfield by signing young midfielder Anthony Grant from Chelsea. Yes, you heard me right, midfielder. Another midfielder. What is happening to the football club? Any chance of us signing a striker Blackwell? Not that that is the main crisis the club is facing, of course.
