Luton definitely won't lose tomorrow

The Luton match has been the first match so far to fall foul of the bad weather across the country. The news will come as a shock to a lot of Luton fans and to people who follow Luton. Most fans expected the match to be called off at approximately 2.55pm when everyone was already at the ground but this time the referee appears to have acted quickly in telling everyone a day in advance. It also means that the injured players have got a chance to regain fitness again for the Stoke match next week. It also means that no-one is likely to pick up an injury tomorrow, although you never know with Luton.

The players will certainly be happy with the decision to call the match off, as it means that there is no chance of getting booed off the pitch tomorrow. Danny Stevens and Edward whatshisname will be particularly delighted because it will mean they have had three days off in a row due to most of the schools being closed. However, instead of getting disappointed on a cold Saturday afternoon, Luton fans will be disappointed on a cold Tuesday night at a later date instead, so there is only brief respite for the fans. No date has been agreed for the re-arranged fixture yet. Also, it means that we are more likely to go down a few places in the league tomorrow.
