The official website has announced the two loan signings of Michael Spillane and Josh Klein-Davies, as well as the permanent signing of midfielder Kevin Watson. Spillane was announced by other sources as a signing yesterday from Norwich but has only confirmed as a signing today. He has been signed on a season long loan. Klein-Davies has been signed on loan from Bristol Rovers for at least one month, and Kevin Watson was an uncontracted midfielder, previously from Colchester United.

The club have also confirmed that Keith Keane and Lewis Emanuel have renewed their contracts at the club and that Ryan Charles has signed a professional contract at Luton. Marlon Beresford and Zac Barrett have also had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.

Watson, 34, has played for Colchester since 2004 and made 130 league appearances for Colchester in that time. He was restricted to just 7 last season as Colchester were relegated to League One, and was released at the end of the season.

Spillane, 19, is on loan from Norwich and is a midfielder, although he can also play in defence. He has made 18 appearances for Norwich City, and has represented Republic of Ireland at U17, U18 and U21 levels.

Klein-Davies, who is also 19, is a striker on loan from Bristol Rovers, who has scored one goal in ten appearances for Bristol Rovers. He has also played on loan at Yate Town, where he scored five goals in eight appearances.
