Good news at last

Feeney, 26, has signed for the Bluebirds in a three year deal. Three, incidentally, is more than the number of league goals that Feeney scored this season, and more than the total number of goals that he has scored in 2006, and 2007 so far. In total, Feeney played 83 matches for Luton, including 50 starts, and scored 11 goals. Feeney was also part of the Northern Ireland squad that went about 10 games without scoring a goal, and he isn't really part of the Northern Ireland side that are doing well now. A lot of people at Luton will miss Warren Feeney; Adam Boyd, for example. Feeney and Boyd have this season been fighting for the tag of 'Most Unpopular Striker Still Currently Playing At Luton' award. However, now it looks like Boyd has won this accolade by default, and unless Tresor Kandol returns to Luton, he will have to work very hard to get rid of this tag. He may even have to turn up for training once in a while.

Anyway, this isn't about Boyd, it's about Feeney. So, Luton fans will be wondering how Feeney will be replaced. All I'll say is, how can Blackwell replace someone like Feeney? I would like to say thank you to Warren for his efforts at the club, and I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Cardiff good luck.
