Foley return possible

The Irish full-back/midfielder picked up an injury whilst on international duty with the Republic of Ireland U21's and hasn't played since the 2-1 victory at home to Millwall in August. However, Newell may be reluctant to drop Carlos Edwards to bring Foley back in. Carlos has generally performed well since coming in as a makeshift right-back.

Midfielders Paul Underwood and Steve Robinson are both doubts for tomorrow's clash. Robinson missed the clash with Cardiff City a fortnight ago because of injury and Underwood only featured on the bench. This will probably result in starts for Dean Morgan and Peter Holmes in their places. Both Morgan and Holmes scored in the Cardiff win. Rowan Vine is almost certain not to start but could feature on the bench tomorrow. Vine played in his first reserve match since signing permanently recently, but is still way short of match fitness. Tomorrow's opponents Crewe are currently bottom of the league, which probably doesn't bode well for us.
