Beckwith joins Chesterfield on loan

The youngster has not featured in the first-team at all in the last two years and now finds himself as 4th choice keeper behind Marlon, Deano and Dino. Chesterfield have signed him to replace veteran keeper Carl Muggleton, who has left the club by mutual consent after four years. He made almost 150 appearances in almost four years, and looked fairly solid whenever he came up against Luton. Barry Roche, the first-choice keeper, is still injured so Beckwith will go straight into the first-team squad for tomorrow's match with Scunthorpe, his first full match for over two and a half years.
